Come join in a half-day of exploration, introspection, and sharing as we investigate the many layers of meaning in the garden and what they symbolize to us individually and collectively.
Using a structured collaborative journaling process called Collective Curiosity Journaling, we will consider color, texture, light, sound, shape, scent, species, metaphor and more to deepen our understanding of the garden, ourselves, and one another.
We will draw on a variety of artist and writers’ tools to move through a group process designed to deepen curiosity. Working together, we will experience the value of multiple perspectives. Participants will leave with a journal record of the workshop, representing the understanding built from our time together. Each person’s journal will contain their own work, as well as reflections and input from others.
Collective Curiosity Journaling is designed to approach learning with the realization that a singular answer does not satisfy the urge to know. Through questioning, analyzing, creating, and evaluating together we will develop deeper connections and networks of knowledge that help construct a greater understanding of the natural world.
