is an apt name for the fanciful

The Big Pond
The “big pond” is at the center of the garden
and home to fish, frogs, ducks, turtles,
and an occasional kingfisher, heron,
and river otter.
Tall trees provide a backdrop to the water lilies,
iris, pickerel, and rhodendrons.
